Nelson and Greymouth's Stockcar teams were the first to face off this season with the Thunder taking the win over the Grizzlies with a return race coming later in the season at Greenstone Park. It's a big season for Stockcar teams with the first major event at Huntly coming up in a few weeks. Manawatu have just named a very strong team and will be out to keep their unbeaten run of last season going. Great to hear the Baypark Bulldogs will spring back to life this year after a hiatus and hopefully they can match the Busters impact last season.
