Fender Bending Doco

The often maligned Fending Bending documentary is finally online and well worth a look. It actually holds up pretty well and is a wonderful snapshot of 80's Auckland. There are some gruesome haircuts but the footage of Waikaraka Park is fantastic. Whether or not it did the sport any favours is beside the point now, as a time capsule of Stockcar racing it is priceless. The link to view 3 clips from the programme is HERE.
