DHL Interislander Saloons, Waikaraka Park

The weather did everything it could to stop this meeting but they perservered and the Saloons put on a rather excellent feature race taken out by young 124m Dan Corrin from Gisborne (registered to Baypark) ahead of 5t Daryl Ainsly from Cromwell. Considering sheets of misty rain fell throughout the final race there were no yellows or stoppages, a credit to the drivers involved. The series moves to Baypark tonight and then back to Waikaraka Park on the 3rd. Check it out if you are in Auckland, the racing was top notch. Check this website for all the results HERE.
